Day in Sharnbrook upper school

Day in school: 0830 – 1030 canoeing, accompanied by Vicky. Those who do not want to do it can do my ‘Sharnbrook village quiz’. Basically it involves walking around the village and answering questions. 1040-1100 Break. 1100-1205 Drama. 1205-1230 Tutor time (they can go their exchange partner’s tutor room for this). 1230-1330 Computer room. They can have some time to go on the computers here, BUT I expect that most of them will want to be with their exchange partners to say goodbye before they get on the bus.

Go to Home Close. Which of these roads does Home Close not lead to?

Where are the cash machines in the village?

Where do the buses from Sharnbrook go to?

Look at the road signs in the centre of the village. Where could you go if you wanted to see a play?

Now head back in the direction of the school. What does the triangular sign at the end of ‘The Drive’ tell you?

Con este blog pretendo crear un espacio de intercambio de experiencias ,opiniones acerca de un proyecto que lleva funcionando en nuestro centro desde hace varios años ,con lo cual le es familiar a muchos de nuestros chicos : a los que ya han participado en él ,a los alumnos que no han estado en Inglaterra pero que, cada vez que han venido chicos ingleses , han participado dentro y fuera del centro en actividades conjuntamente y a los más pequeños , que te decían "profe " al año que viene voy yo.En definitiva , el intercambio ha creado une expectación en el centro que no deja indiferente a casi nadie.
Invitaremos a los alumnos ingleses a participar tambien en este proyecto.
En cuanto a los contenidos serán variados:
Situaremos a Bedford en el mapa de Inglaterra y los lugares interesantes que visitaremos en nuestra estancia.

Intercambiaremos fotos
Anécdotas y curiosidades
Quería añadir que al principio me asustó bastante la idea pero a medida que pasa el tiempo me entusiasmo más con ella.
